Los Angeles, CA–On Sunday July 31st from 1 – 7pm White Hall Arts Academy is having a community festival “Rock The Block” in celebration of their 10 Year Anniversary! “Rock The Block” will be day filled with music, conversation, community and FUN held on 54th Street from 7th to 4th Aves.
Programming will include a Main Stage in front of White Hall Arts Academy, a Kids Zone, activation zones from community partners along with vendors focused on education, wellness and family services and food trucks.
Featured activities are:
- Boom Squad Kids Zone hosted by Boomer and Disney+ star Sanai Victoria featuring music performances, clown squads, LA Double Dutch Club, gaming truck, face painting, balloon twisting, arts and crafts and more!
- “The Art of Video Games” panel powered by TEC Leimert featuring DreamHaven artists @ Ashanti United Church
- Live art mural powered by Destination Crenshaw @ Kids Zone
- Parent education and advocacy panel powered by NAAAPY @The Knowledge Shop
- “Incorporating Your Hustle” panel powered by Chase, hosted by KBLA’s Don Amiche featuring The Shade Room founder Angelica Nwandu, Lia Dias founder of Hype Hair Magazine and Girl Cave LA, Keep it Run Hundred founder Alrick Augustine and White Hall Arts Academy founder Tanisha Hall on the Main Stage.
