Los Angeles, CA–#TimesDone aims to highlight the legal obstacles of 8 million Americans who are living with past convictions which include their access to jobs, housing and other necessities for economic security and stability upon their release from jail.
#TimeDone hosted a free benefit concert this weekend that included artist @nipseyhussle @tydollasign @goapele + more.
The campaign is to educate and mobilize the public to reduce the barriers of success for people living with a past convictions.
There are more than 40,000 restrictions that are impacting the stability of individuals and communities.

Tina Sampay, known as Slauson Girl, is a journalist, author and media founder from South Central Los Angeles. Her Bachelor of Arts in Critical Race and Gender Studies informs how she examines race, gender and power in her journalism.
