Downtown, Los Angeles–Over three years after he was arrested and charged in the shooting death of Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, Eric Holder Jr., is currently set to stand trial. Opening statements are expected to begin tomorrow morning, after more than a week of jury selection. In addition to 12 jurors, there are also 6 alternate jurors who were selected today.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge H. Clay Jacke II is presiding over the case. Court resumes tomorrow in Dept 104 located on the Ninth floor at 9:30 a.m.
Deputy District Attorney John McKinney told a grand jury that Eric Ronald Holder Jr., used two guns,
firing multiple shots shortly after a conversation between Nipsey Hussle (born Ermias Asghedom) and Holder that included allegations of snitching in a court case.
Recently, Nipsey Hussle’s friend and employee Cowboy went on BMX Biker Adam 22’s Youtube show No Jumper, saying Nipsey Hussle never called Holder a snitch and there was no issue or altercation that would make him think Holder would come back with a gun.
