Los Angeles, CA–The story surrounding the the assassination of Nipsey Hussle continues to get murkier by the minute.

It has been announced that internal affairs has now launched an investigation into why LAPD turned away the get-away-driver in Nipsey Hussle’s case.

An unidentified woman who is only referenced as “Witness #1” in court transcripts, says she tried to turn herself in after Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed March 31.

According to CBS News:

The LAPD’s Office of the Inspector General confirmed Monday that the Internal Affairs Group is investigating a desk officer’s response.

An LAPD spokeswoman said the matter is under administrative investigation and she couldn’t release more details.

Grand jury testimony shows the woman who drove the suspect, Eric R. Holder, away from the March 31 shooting had gone to the station because her car and license plate were on the news.

The driver has been granted immunity from the courts and is said to be receiving witness protection because she has credible claims of being in fear for her life.
