Black People Need To Have The Same Energy For Black Media

South Central, Los Angeles–Something that has been bothering me for a while, is how platforms like Vlad TV have built their whole careers and are profiting off Black culture. Not only that, Black people go on their platforms and deliver the culture on a silver platter.

As a freelance-journalist and someone who is developing content and a media platform, I understand how people may not gravitate towards those who are trying to get their platforms off the ground. However, people like Vlad all started somewhere, and they started in our culture.

What I am trying to say, is that Black people need to have the same energy for Black platforms. Many need to check their subconscious mind, which tells them that going on white platforms is a sense of approval or validation.
