Redondo Beach, CA–Neighborhood Coffee & Tea is a Black-owned coffee shop that recently opened in the South Bay Galleria.
Jeffrey Mitchell always wanted to become an entrepreneur but was inspired to open Neighborhood Coffee & Tea a few months ago, after much planning and preparation to go into business for himself.
Mitchell found his passion for coffee in 2004, while working as a barista at a Magic Johnson owned Starbucks.
“The culture and atmosphere changed everything for me while working as a barista at Starbucks. My supervisor Brandon and a co-worker named Carl inspired me with their energy.”
