“Left behind men are men that women reject… men who will end up broke and alone as women deem them a poor choice for a mate. Why? Recent studies show that men are falling further and further behind women in attainment of a formal education. Women are enrolling in college and graduating at a 2:1 ratio over men.
When you couple this with women’s desire to marry only someone with a similar educational and socioeconomic status, it’s apparent that we are headed for a serious social crisis.
Men of today are often angry at women for not responding to them positively. Several 5-letter groups have been formed by angry frustrated men who don’t quite measure up to the standards progressive, educated women have for the men in their lives. The resentment at not being chosen is real and often results in misplaced violence towards the women they believe are denying them what they DESERVE.
The sense of entitlement is real. Lack of education can greatly impact access to viable employment, which will further reduce a man’s desirability as a mate to go-getter women. Additionally, the proliferation of gaming as a distraction from adult responsibilities, the immaturity, and concerns about other addictions also negatively impact male desirability. What might all of these social changes mean for men, for women, and for relationships/marriage, especially those who men deemed to be at the bottom of the heap? “
