Los Angeles, CA–After nine consecutive days of protest, teachers have reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Unified School District. The strike was the largest in California within the last 30 years. Teachers from over 1000 schools in LAUSD stood outside their campuses or participated in demonstrations in downtown L.A These rallies drew massive crowds and garnered support from various groups and organizations across the U.S The agreements will include reduced class size by 2020, a 6% pay increase, as well as additional full time counselors.
