This week marked the one year anniversary of Josephine and Billie’s and the community is invited to celebrate during their ‘First Sunday’ celebration Nov. 6.
Founded by Whitney Beatty and Ebony Andersen, the space is curated specifically for and by Black women, to explore the benefits of CBD and plant medicine.
Josephine and Billie’s prioritize shelf space to women-led and POC cannabis brands.
The Cannabis speakeasy is the first of its kind in the U.S, located in the heart of Black Los Angeles.
The space pays homage to the Jazz age, honoring the lives of Black Cultural icons Josephine Baker and Billie Holiday.
Lizzy Jeff is a musician and the creator and founder of Zen & Kush and will host Josephine and Billie’s one year celebration.
Jeff has built a loyal community and fan base, where she empowers thousands of people on a daily basis through her music, workshops & wholistic lifestyle through plant medicine.
