Los Angeles, CA–Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced this week that coronavirus testing will now be available for L.A residents with rapid results within 1-2 days.

“We now have enough capacity that we don’t have to have any prioritization,” Garcetti said. “In other words, anyone who qualifies with symptoms can now get a test.”

Priority testing is still available for:

  • First responders
  • Critical government personnel
  • Health care professionals
  • Grocery workers
