[dropcap]T[/dropcap]hings continue to take unfortunate turns for film mogul Harvey Weinstein. Weinstein was accused by multiple women last month of sexual harassment as well as rape, during the course of a 30-year period.
These allegations against Weinstein have set the film industry on fire. In addition, they have opened doors for many in the film industry who have now shared their testimonies of sexual harassment while trying to make it in Hollywood.
According to the Los Angeles Times:
“New York City police investigators say a 2010 rape allegation made against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is “credible,” and they are gathering evidence to seek an arrest warrant. Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said Friday that investigators have interviewed Paz de la Huerta, who publicly accused Weinstein of raping her twice in her apartment. Boyce said detectives found the “Boardwalk Empire” actress’ story believable and corroborated portions of her account.”
