South Central, Los Angeles–Nipsey Hussle mural was defaced on Slauson and Crenshaw earlier this week but was restored by artist Enkone today. This evening, a man was arrested by the mural—it was sprayed right after being restored. Last week, there was also reports of 10+ shots fired during the day by the Marathon Clothing store although no reports of any injuries.
The Blue Nipsey Mural remained defaced for weeks as it was understood that someone was seeking online attention from the repeated assaults on the mural. An Inglewood Family Blood member was photographed in front of the Nipsey Hussle mural behind the Fatburger on Slauson and Crenshaw. He had spray-painted all over the Nipsey Hussle mural that perfectly illustrated Ermias Asghedom in the higher realm and his transition from this earth. In addition to whacking out Nipsey Hussle’s face, he wrote his name in big, red letters honoring his decisions that make sense only in the minds of a gang member.
