Los Angeles, CA–Sacramento, Oak Park neighborhood native Mozzy releases his latest studio album and most compassionate project to date, Beyond Bulletproof.

The rapper also gifts fans with the visuals for track number one off of the album, “Unethical & Deceitful.”

“In my neighborhood and the ghettos of America, ‘bulletproof’ means ‘love.’ So this is a message that nobody can tamper with. The love that I’ve got for you, it’s bulletproof—it’s Teflon. We seasoned up the expression, I’m taking it further and saying that I love you regardless of your flaws or the rules of the street.” – Mozzy

Supporting others is the heart of Beyond Bulletproof.

Mozzy has been a voice for the streets since day one. Beyond Bulletproof is an independent release via Mozzy Records and EMPIRE and is one that will hit different for many.

An advocate for showing love to those that some in the community may deem unworthy, Mozzy’s album speaks to his love for individuals regardless of mistakes, code, flaws and offers understanding and second chances as he himself has battled the same demons.

The project boasts noteworthy features including G Herbo, Eric Bellinger, Polo G, Blxst and more.”

Mozzy has emerged as one of the most exciting voices coming out of the West Coast. From Sacramento’s Oak Park neighborhood, the EMPIRE artist reached the mainstream after appearing the Grammy-nominated Black Panther soundtrack.

After a host of celebrated albums, collaborative projects, and massive hits on YouTube spanning a decade, Mozzy steps forth with his most compassionate album to date, Beyond Bulletproof.

The album looks at those who are bullied or passed over in their community—whether due to addiction, poverty, or mistakes they made in the past, offering a hand, a second chance, and some understanding.

Mozzy is from some of the toughest streets in the country and has made a name for himself with wisdom-informed Gangsta Rap, a product of hunger and upbringing.

Mozzy’s grandmother was a disciplinarian who instilled a fierce work ethic in him, teaching him about Barack Obama, Huey P. Newton, and Tupac which helped Mozzy develop a sense of pride.

He has released a non-stop barrage of music ever since.
