Los Angeles Extends Stay Home Order A Week Before Initial Date Set To Expire

Los Angeles, CA– Los Angeles will remain on lock down at least another month and possibly into the summer, Los Angeles health officials today announced today.

L.A residents have been inside their homes for the last three weeks unable to attend large gatherings, visit elderly family members and millions are out of work.

The weeks have seemingly flown by with the initial Apr. 19 date quickly approaching, only to be extended at the last minute by elected officials.

There are reportedly over 8,000 confirmed coronavirus cases in L.A county.

“Experts warn, however, that those measures must stay in place longer even as the number of people being admitted to the hospital for the virus has somewhat slowed,” The Hill
