Looking At The Life of Nipsey Hussle A Year After His Assassination

South Central, Los Angeles–It has now been a year since rapper and businessman Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed at his Marathon Clothing store on Slauson and Crenshaw.

As someone from the community, it still doesn’t feel real. The year has flown by while many are still trying to comprehend his death.

Although Eric Holder who was 29-years-old at the time was arrested and is currently awaiting trial, there are still so many unanswered questions as the community continues to grapple with the sudden death of Nipsey Hussle.

Born Ermis Asghedom, 33, Nipsey Hussle is a leader whose influence stretches far beyond our South Central community due to his message of ownership while leading by example.
