Large Gathering In South Central Prompts Massive Police Response During Coronavirus Lockdown

South Central, Los Angeles–At least 50 police cars responded to a call for back up in South Central last night after a reported group of at least 100 people were said to be gathered on 54th and Normandie.

Governor Gavin Newsom issued a stay at home order Mar. 19 for the entire state of California to establish a consistent, state-wide coronavirus response.

The virus which first hit Wuhan, China is making its way around the world and currently has the U.S on lockdown to slow the spread.

Earlier in the day, hundreds of protestors took to the streets of Huntington Beach to protest the stay at home orders that have now been extended in Los Angeles County and various parts of the U.S, including New York and San Fransisco.

This week states including Tennessee and Michigan saw similar coronavirus protest.
