“That is why I reached out to the world for help, because something is just not right–and I am still asking for help.”

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]eresa Martin gave an interview to a radio show in Chicago discussing the mysteriousness surrounding her daughters death.

In September, 19-year old Kenneka Jenkins was found dead in a walk-in freezer at a hotel in Rosemont, Illinois and her death sparked a social media frenzy.

Facebook and Twitter conversations surrounding her death centered around YouTube videos created by thousands of people sharing their views on how Jenkins ended up in the freezer.

Footage released by the hotel showing Jenkin’s stumbling through hotel hallways highly intoxicated, as well as over 36 hours of additional footage has been ripped to shreds by online commenters.

Unfortunately, a huge spectacle has been created surrounding Jenkin’s death yet no concrete information has materialized explaining what happened to her.

As Ms. Martin mentioned in the interview, Rosemont Police Department ruled Jenkin’s death an accident prior to any formal investigation or autopsy reports. RPD told Jenkin’s mother that she walked into the freezer on her on.

Ms. Martin’s interview comes after the release of Jenkin’s autopsy report and the release of disturbing pictures of Jenkin’s in the freezer released by RPD.

Jenkin’s autopsy showed she had traces of a medicine prescribed for seizures and migraines as well as an high alcohol level. The autopsy described no traces of sexual assault.

Ms. Jenkin’s also discussed the conflict she experienced with Chicago activist over issues of money that was collected during protest for her daughter.
