Kendrick Lamar & South Park Creators Team Up For Slavery Comedy

Written by Vernon Chatman, the untitled live-action comedy will be co-produced by Lamar’s pgLang media company and Stone and Parker’s Park County.

pgLang operates as a production and publishing house, as well as a record label and was founded in 2020 by Lamar and his business partner Dave Free.

Chatman has won several peabody awards for his work and has produced and co-created several shows including Killer Mike’s Trigger Warning, and South Park. This will be his first feature film.
