Indian Men Who Beat Black Women at Gas Station Face Simple Assault Charges

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania–Two sisters, Jamila Regan, 25, and Ashia Regan, 27, found themselves fighting the owners and an employee of a Pittsburgh gas station last week.

The fight was captured on video and went viral on social media, prompting protest at the gas station which caused the business to be permanently shut down according to reports.

The fight began over spilled gas, or a malfunctioning gas-pump, which prompted the women to ask for their money back.

The exact words that started the heated exchange is unclear, but on newly released video from inside the gas station, you can see one sister walk inside and approach the counter, while another is seen arguing with 2-3 men by the entrance.

People online are pointing to the fact that one of the sisters went back inside and knocked over a display rack, but it was only after she was assaulted by the employee and owner outside.

Some middle eastern folks in particular, seem to have a deep disdain for African-Americans. In addition, women are most likely not seen as equal counterparts of Indian men in their country, which only added frustration to the heated exchange.

Although the men were deemed at the aggressors in the situation by police, currently, they only face simple assault charges.

Scott Hill, 50, an employee of the store, faces two counts of simple assault.

The attorney for Balkar Singh, 40, who is facing one count of simple assault and Sukhjinder Sadhra, 35, who is facing two counts of simple assault, said his clients are not “racist.” He went on to say that, as “minorities” his clients know what it is like to experience prejudice.

The question is, would these two have attacked a white woman so viciously?

These “POC’s” who set up businesses in inner city communities because they have the capital to do so, rarely ever live in close proximity to their Black patrons. How can you be a part of a community that you are only in to make money?

Let’s not forget, long before the transatlantic slave trade, there was the East African slave trade, controlled and run by middle-eastern muslims.

This may be where the inherit disdain of African-Americans comes from.
