DJ Premier taps Remy Ma and Rapsody for an ode to Hip-Hop, to celebrate 50 years of the culture. The collaboration accompanied a music video for ‘Remy Rap feat. Remy Ma & Rapsody.
The video and song pays homage to Hip-Hop culture, with many of the early styles represented in the music video from fly, colorful, bucket hats to gold earrings and chains.
Let’s just say the stylist and creative director for ‘Remy Rap’ did their thing.
The visual is the first to accompany ‘DJ Premier: Hip Hop 50 Volume 1’, the inaugural release from a series that will span ten EPs of new music. In this case, the tune showcases the vocal talents of Bronx MC Remy Ma and Grammy-nominated North Carolina artist, Rapsody (DJMAG).
