ICE Raids To Begin In Major Cities Sunday

ICE raids are set to begin this weekend and will be conducted in 10 cities across the U.S, targeting at least 2,000 immigrants.

President Trump announced in June that he authorized the roads, but pulled out at the last minute to give Congress more to time to develop resolution option for the border.

For at least the last three months, over 100,000 immigrants are said to have arrived at the U.S border. U.SOfficials have been criticized not only for the administrations policy of separating children from their families, but also for the conditions in which the children are being forced to live.

In response to the news, the ACLU filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of several non profit immigrant organizations.

In February, Los Angeles was declared a sanctuary city for immigrants.
