Compton, CA– At 12:19 a.m, a 3.7 earthquake was reported in Compton, just hours after millions of people participated “The Great Shakeout,” a worldwide earthquake drill.

Luckily, there were no reports of injury or damage. According to NBC Los Angeles:

“The earthquake, which was deep under the surface at 15 miles, appears to have been near, but not on the Newport-Inglewood fault, according to seismologist Dr. Lucy Jones.  The fault runs near the communities of Culver City, Gardena, Compton, Signal Hill, Long Beach and coastal Orange County communities. It then extends offshore.”
