20-Year-Old Clings To Life After Being Shot in Head in South Central

South Central, Los Angeles– A 20-year-old was hospitalized today after being shot in the head on Broadway and 104th street in South Central. The young man is reported to be in grave condition. No information about the victim has yet been released other than his age. The shooting was the result of a drive-by, according to authorities.

According to KTLA 5:

Paramedics took the victim, described as a man in his 20s, to a hospital, where he was listed in grave condition, the sergeant said.
Shots were fired by someone in a passing gray van or SUV, he said. No further details were available.
