$10,000 Offered in CSULB Student Compton Killing

Compton, CA—A $10,000 reward is now being offered in the killing of a Cal State University Long Beach student.

Authorities say that 21-Year-Old Estephan Hernandez, was shot and killed around 9:30 p.m. September 2017, in front of his home on East 148th street in Compton.

Hernandez was having a conversation with a female companion when the shooting occurred. The female was transported to the hospital with a single gunshot wound.

Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).
