Montgomery County, Texas– Famed actor and comedian Bill Cosby, whose career and legacy was tarnished by accusations and then a conviction for sexual assault, is set to be sentenced later this month in a Texas court.
Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele submitted a motion on Tuesday, requesting that Cosby’s accusers appear at his sentencing to share accounts of their experience. Cosby, 81, was convicted in April on three counts of aggravated indecent assault.
Andrea Constand, 45, says Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted her in his home in 2004.
Cosby’s sentencing is set for September 24. He is facing 10-30 years in prison.
