13 People Killed After Mass Shooting In Thousand Oaks

Thousand Oaks, CA–Twelve people were killed and a dozen more injured Tuesday, after a gunman entered Borderline Bar and Grill and started shooting. A sheriff’s sergeant was also killed. Ventura County Sgt. Ron Helus, was shot after entering the bar and attempting to subdue the gunman.

The gunman has been identified as 28-year-old David Long, a Marine and Army vet with a history of mental health concerns.

Friends of Long say he frequented the bar frequently.
